How many Locations can Athena manage at the same time?
There is no exact figure as to the maximum number of locations (or Campsites) that Athena software can manage. The answer is down to how much memory and hard disk space you have available on your computer. Most modern computers now come as standard with at least 256Mbytes of RAM and at least a 40GB hard drive. This should be sufficiet to manage very large systems. However, I would recommend if the setup is very large indeed (greater than say 50 locations / sites, or where the number of rooms / pitches exceed 250) then a much higher specification PC should be used.

What specification of PC do you recommend for Athena?
Most modern PC's will be sufficient to run Athena on. Typically you will require the following specification as a minimum.
Windows 98/2000 or XP
256MBytes of RAM
40GB Hard drive (Athena does not use anywhere near this much)
1024 x 768 resolution colour display
CDRom drive
Mouse
Printer

Does Athena backup it's database at all - if so, where to?
Athena will backup it's database automatically every 30 minutes. This figure can be changed by contacting Sourcery Software. The database backup is in the following directory:
Program Files\Sourcery Software\Athena\Database\Backup
This location can also be changed if required. To do this again contact Sourcery Software for details.

Can you modify Athena to suite my specific requirements?
Sourcery Athena is a standard product and as such custom modifications will not be possible. However, if your specific requirement can be included as part of the standard software product, then I would be more than willing to considder this. These new requirements if selected, will be developped and added to the standard build.

Would you attend my location to install and setup Athena?
Athena has been developped to be low cost software. As such with regret, it will not be possible to attend your location to install and setup Athena software. However, I am able to configure a software package for you which can then be modified by you as necessary. Details on pricing for this can be found in the pricing sections of this website.

Do I have to pay more for your software as the size of my campsite grows (more pitches)?
I do not believe in you having to pay different rates for different sizes of system that you require. After all, the software you are using is the same irrespective of the size of the system you put together. Therefore, with Athena, the price that you see on the web site is the price that you pay. It does not matter how large your configuration is, the price is the same.
